About Condor:
Condor's history started in 1955, the year it was founded. Back then Condor was know as Deutsche Flugdienst GmbH with its base airpot in Frankfurt am Main. On March 29th of 1956 the first flight is flown. 3 years later Deutsche Lufthansa AG takes over most of the capital and changes the company name in 1961 to Condor Flugdienst GmbH. In 1997 when Condor Flugdienst GmbH merged with NUR Touristic GmbH, Deutsche Lufthansa AG and KarstadtQuelle AG it became a Thomas Cook AG company.
